Privacy Policy

This page explains what personal information Sunningdale Solar & Battery ("we", "us") collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what your rights are. If anything here isn't clear, email matt@sunningdalesolar.co.uk and we'll answer directly.

What we collect

When you fill in the contact form on this site, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if given) and whatever you write in the message field. We don't collect anything else about you through this site — there's no account system, and we don't track your browsing activity.

Why we collect it

Solely to respond to your enquiry — to get in touch about a potential solar or battery installation, arrange a survey, or answer a question. We don't use it for marketing, and we don't sell or share it with anyone for their own purposes.

Third parties we use

The contact form is delivered using a third-party service, Web3Forms, which takes your submission and forwards it to our email inbox — we don't run our own server to handle this. Web3Forms only processes the message on our behalf; it doesn't retain a copy of your submission itself. Their infrastructure is based outside the UK, which is typical of most small-business form and email tools.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond to you and, if we go on to work together, for the duration of that relationship and as long as required for our business records afterwards. If nothing comes of an enquiry, we don't keep it indefinitely.

Cookies

This site doesn't use cookies for tracking, analytics or advertising. It's a static site with no visitor tracking of any kind.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email matt@sunningdalesolar.co.uk to do any of this. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's independent regulator for data protection.
